These Fused Claptons from Geekvape are made of NI80 (Nickel alloy), which allows them to quickly withstand higher temperatures without unnecessary ramp-up time. There are 2 varieties in the box. 4 of each variety.
One is a 0.35 ohm coil made with double 26GA (0.4 mm) core wires in (ni80) wound with 38GA (0.10 mm) in (ni80). Inner diameter 3mm – 6 turns.
The other is a coil of 0.4 ohms. Here are 3 core wires of 28GA (0.32 mm) that are wound with a 40GA (0.08 mm) wire. Inner diameter 3mm – 6 turns.
Remember that building/assembling your own coils can involve a risk if the structure is to be driven by a mechanical mode. You must have knowledge and know how OHM´S LAG works. When using mechanical mods, it is always the battery’s Ampere that determines your resistance in the coil. It is important to choose the right battery.
Risks with electronically controlled mode are not as sensitive in that there is a chip here that controls the current and tells you if something is wrong.
