Using this special metal alloy was a brilliant decision on Joyetech’s part, as it allows Cubis BF coils to be used in VW (variable wattage) mode, TC (temperature control) mode and TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance). This eliminated the need to buy different coils made of different wire materials to switch between positions.
